Randomness

It has been a few weeks, life has been crazy!! I am finding it dificult to do all the things I want to do while keeping up my school and work schedual. I NEVER get to see my friends, we hardly see our family, we just hang out together. Which I love!! I have the worlds greatest husband.

We are going to start taking Eldon's little brothers with us to church. We are so excited, they are such sweet boys. Last week they were just full of questions and I love that we know and have the answers. I am so happy that they want to go and learn about the gospel. I am so excited to see them more they really are great boys.

I am also SO greatful and thankful for the trials and tough things we have to face. The Lord really knows us and knows what we need to learn and grow. Although trials suck REALLY bad, I am thankful for them. It amazes me how many people are looking out for us, think of us and pray for us. We are truly blessed.

Eldon I think is LOVING the fact that he is not in school right now. He is so excited he is reading all of the books that he never had time for before. I love that he has the time to read and do the things he likes doing. I love that he is passionate about books and writing. He likes playing the playstaion and is so excited for God of War 3 to come out. (that is his FAVORITE game) It takes a while to get through some games but he likes to make sure he doesn't miss one thing that is in there to do or see. He is so cute.

We are happy in our little world, it is busy and I wish we had more time to do things and hang out, but I think that part of our life comes later on. Right now we are just loving where we are and enjoying the no strings crazy life.

Full of Gratitude

I have no words to express my gratitude for the gospal in my life. Eldon and i are blessed to have recieved a call to be nursery workers. I LOVE IT!!! Those sweet children bring so much joy and love. They know so much and the simple little lessons taught are so helpful and it is amazing to see these cute youngsters take the principles and use them in class. They sometimes don't like to share the toys, but that is a lesson that you continue to learn all your life.

I was blessed to see an outpouring of love and a beautiful tribute to an amazing person who's life ended way too soon. I don't know how anyone can get through such tragedy and loss without the peaceful knowledge of the plan of salvation. The light of Christ is the most amazing a comforting tool that we have to use to guide us through. If only we all had neon signs to make sure we never forget.

One week down!!!

This has been a very exciting week in the Gomez house. Eldon and I are starting to fit into our new rolls, Eldon working and taking care of the house and the cooking (he is so BRAVE) I have the best hubby in the world, he doesn't want me to stress out too much this semester so he is taking care of everything so I can just go to school and work.

School is great. They changed the dress code so we can actually wear jeans now YAY!!! I LOVE doing hair so school is fun for me, waking up and getting there on time is a challange. I have set a goal to be in bed by 9:30 on school nights, so far I made it once. It is a work in progress. All of the girls I started school with are not in at the same time as I am so I am blessed enough to have to step out of my comfort zone and meet new people.(blah) It actually has been really nice, I have been getting to know a girl who placed her baby for adoption in Nov. It is AMAZING to see the miricle of adoption from the birthmothers perspective. She is so strong and is a very sweet girl and I hope we are able to get to know each other better. She is such an inspiration to me and gives me hope.

It seems like Eldon and I have just become so much closer over the last few weeks (who knew that was possible) I am so blessed to be married to my BEST friend. I never knew I could love someone so much, I fall more in love with him every day we share together. He is such a support to me through all of my hard times and crazyness with the hormone pills I was on the past 2 years. He has to be the MOST patcient person in the world to put up with me. Being married is the best thing in the world. It makes me so sad when I see marriages fall apart or hear people are not happy. I am so greatful to be married in the temple I know that if we did not have the Lord with us in our marriage we could not be as happy as we are.

update Driveby

Okay Finally!!! I actually found the time to sit and write. Hello All I have missed you. Here starts a quick overview of the last 2 and 1/2 months.

Halloween- Eldon had to work as ALWAYS...............work was Crazy awesome, my whole department dressed up, our part of the office was completely decked out, it looked like a freaking haunted house. All of the kids came in to trick or treat, and holy hell my sisters decided to come together (a miracle) so there I was taking 8 children ages 10,8,6(x2)4,3,2 and a 11 month old. Lets just say it was an adventure. All in all it was a great day.

November- This is one of the Crazy months for my family. Not only is my birthday in this blessed month there is also 5 other family members' birthdays. There is really one a week. So we were all crazy busy with that and trying to get things ready for Thanksgiving. Which was AMAZING. We were with Eldon's side of the family this year. It was so fun, we all got there early and hung out for most of the day. I made 5 pies, rolls, cranberries, and yams(Eldon actually made them). MMMMMMM and Alma makes the best turkey.

November 30Th- My birthday!!! really it should be a national holiday. I had to go to school(so not fun) then I went and hung out with my mom for a bit while Eldon finished his day at school, then my dear sweet hubby took me out, we had such a great time. OH we went and saw the Blind Side. It was a very inspirational movie, it was so good. And dear hell I want to be like that momma.

December- We started it out with going on a carriage ride through the lights at Thanksgiving point with our Fabulous friends the Larkins. That was way fun, but way cold. I took Talia to my work Christmas party we saw A Christmas Carol. It was scary, I wouldn't go see it with young children. Talia decided she wanted pizza for lunch from sizzler. So we went and ate while waiting for my mom and sisters to come up and meet us so we could go to the festival of trees.(one of my favorite things about the Christmas season). School ended for the time being. My sweet little pollo face hubby (I am SO proud of him) Finished his B.A. in English, with a minor in literacy. He is so BRAVE. lets see Aria's 2Nd Birthday, Noche Buena, Christmas and New Years.....................

GOODNESS!!! I really feel like I haven't been able to breath, we have just been constantly going. But we are very Blessed to have such wonderful family so close that we can spend so much time with. Over the past week we have been setting new goals and deciding what we need to focus our time and energy on. It always amazes me that once you make the decision to be better the Lord is right there to guide you through it. I can not tell you the comfort and peace that the Spirit of the Lord has brought into my life in the past week. I know that the trials that we all face are made perfectly for the person. I am so grateful for the opportunity my Heavenly Father is giving me to learn and to grow and to become better and stronger and much more patient person. If you ask he is ALWAYS there, and if you ask he will help you stay positive through your trials. I KNOW this to be true.

UP NEXT The plans for the next couple of months.
*Try to get through school without dying (I am taking 30 hours a week this time with 30 hours of work) I am going to have to be really brave.
*Get Eldon accepted to a good school (praying for Utah)
*Pass home studies

I am sure there is more. I guess you will all have to stay tuned to find out.

Moving on to bigger and better things

So we are in the very beginging of the process of adoption, and as a requirement we need a place to put a new addition to the fam. So we moved from our FABULOUS one bed one bath 480 sq ft appartment to..........................Yup you guessed a two bed one bath 608 sq ft of fabulous space. Our old apartment has alot of memories, our little family had alot of firsts in that apartment, we made some AMAZING friends that I hope to keep forever. Alas it was time to move onward and upward and we are LOVING it. We have high hopes for our new little place in the world, and I hope we can stick to our goals. As for the Gomez family we are constatly movi'n and a groov'n....you will have to tune in to see what will happen next.

How stupid can one girl be??

I was all ready and geared up to start school today. I had my lunch packed and my mind set, I was up on time and I was so excited. I had this funny feeling that I should call one of my class mates and just make sure that we were meeting in the oak room as we always do on the first day. I call Norma up (poor Norma must think I am an idiot!!!) And ask some general questions about school, then I ask if she was already there? Then I realize she sounds a little groggy I mean it is 7 A.M. then sweet Norma says "What are you talking about? School doesn't start till Wednesday!!!" Holly hell I am SO not smart. Seriously who doesn't actually check their schedule to see when their classes start............OH WAIT, I DO!!!! what a fool I am. LOL

Okay, Okay!!! it has been a LONG time since I have blogged anything. so lets catch up a little. Eldon is starting his last semester of school!!!!! Hallelujah he graduates in December with a Bachelors in English and a minor in hmmmm drawing a blank on that on. Oh wait it is in litericy. He is taking the LSAT next month and hoping to have all the applications in around Thanksgiving. (scary) that is coming up so fast. I am starting my third semester of cosmetology and LOVING every minute of it. I must say I am damn good at hair.(lol) and so humble. We are excited for the uncertain future in our last few years of school. We are still up at student housing and well I HATE it. I am going to try my hardest to like it from now on. Eldon and I are both still working full time and with school and his homework we will never see each other. I am very blessed to have a few GREAT friends and family to help us along the way. We are excited to see what life is going to bring us the next few months.
